The Hand Printed Upholstery Fabric Collection

Delicate motifs inspired by traditional hand block printing

I have a special affinity with hand block printing and hand screen printing - after all, it was how I created my very first fabric over 28 years ago! These fabrics have an unsophisticated edge that I find really beautiful. Close your eyes and imagine the precision and patience involved in creating something so unique. I love the distinctive marks and textures created by the blocks, which are completely different from the smooth finish of conventional, mechanically printed fabrics. There are two different designs to play with - a traditional paisley fertility symbol called Life and Eternity Detail, and a striped design called Simple Ticking Detail.

All of them are printed on a beautifully soft Linen Union fabric, comprised of 60% Organic Cotton, and 40% Linen. Colours range from Ochre yellows, to Charcoal Greys and Marigold oranges.
