The Sky Collection

An airy collection in soft, fresh colours

One of my favourite artists is Matisse, who towards the end of his life cut out bold, simple shapes for collages. I used this method to create Up in the Air, Swallow Dive, and Pie in the Sky - they began in the same way but took on a wonderfully organic block-printed feel. The changes each season brings to trees are depicted in my Four Seasons. 

Pie in the Sky began in a wonderfully organic block printed feel, reminiscent of the Arts and Crafts Movement.
