March Moodboard: Spring Interior Design Ideas
Spring is such a welcome sight after the long, brown, muddy days of winter. It is a fresh start that brims with energy and enthusiasm, bringing with it the irresistible urge to throw open the windows, embrace the natural light, and breathe new life into our interiors. After months of hibernating under woolly throws in front of the fire, it’s time to welcome the season’s brightness with open arms.
In this month’s moodboard, Tania, our in-house Interior Designer, shares her spring interior design ideas to help you capture that crisp spring feeling. Discover our best fabrics for spring interiors, and get inspired to refresh your home with spring colour trends and natural textures that sing of the season…
Moodboard ideas for spring
Decorate your bedroom with daffodils
The humble daffodil is a true harbinger of spring. This elegant flower is part of the genus known as “narcissus”, named after the Greek youth who fell in love with his own reflection. White daffodils are associated with perfection, light, goodness, purity, and timelessness, making them the ideal muse for a light and airy bedroom scheme.
For a wonderfully soft and restful bedroom combination, consider layering the following fabrics:
- Frame your windows with flowing drapes made from our delicate Song Birds fabric in Buttercup, Clay & Charcoal and let the natural light flood in
- Complement the drapes with a soft roman blind made from our Pretty Maids fabric in Winter to add depth and sophistication
- Create a tailored window seat cushion in our French Ticking fabric in Field Green & Charcoal for those peaceful morning moments with a cup of coffee
- Introduce a sumptuous bedroom quilt in our joyful Fruit Garden fabric in Buttercup, Clay & Winter to evoke the golden glow of daffodils in the sunshine
- Pile up the bed with scatter cushions in all the above fabrics to create a layered, textural delight

Awash your kitchen with apple blossom
Pink and green is a classic combination that feels fresh and full of life – much like the first apple blossoms of the year. This pairing seamlessly balances warmth with vibrancy, making it the perfect choice for a kitchen.
To bring this look to life, you could:
- Install roman blinds in our Berries & Leaves fabric in Lily Pink & Soft Raspberry – these are softer than roller blinds but more practical than curtains in a kitchen
- Create a charming under-sink curtain made from our Cow Parsley fabric in Moss & Cornflower to introduce a playful yet natural feel to the space
- Decorate your large farmhouse kitchen table with a long bench cushion in our Lapland Stripe fabric in Moss, Lichen, Damson & Lily Pink
- Finish your seating area with a scattering of back cushions in our Dotty Check fabric in Moss & Soft Raspberry and Little Fern fabric in Lily Pink

Create a calming sanctuary in your sitting room
Take inspiration from soft, light blue skies and lush green grass for the ultimate calm and inviting living room space. A tonal colour palette of cornflower blues, teals, and mossy greens creates a peaceful retreat where you can truly unwind in harmony with nature.
Here are a few fabric choices you could consider for your sitting room:
- Dress your tall windows with our Fine Foliage fabric in Duck Egg, Moss, Light Indigo & Soft Cornflower to seamlessly merge the indoors with the outdoors
- Upholster your sofa with our Fern & Dragonfly fabric in Speedwell – this works beautifully on a large, inviting sofa, such as our Traditional Sofa with a fixed back
- Add an elegant finishing touch to your seating with small round bolster cushions in our Sunflower fabric in Cloud
- Create a unique footstool made from our Dotty Check fabric in Cloud, Light Indigo & Moss for added texture and charm
- Bring a touch of spring’s playful lightness with two Sapperton-style armchairs in our Cow Parsley fabric in Teal & Pigeon
- To finish off the scheme, scatter a few different shapes and sizes of cushions in a mix of all the above fabrics
