  • "Hi Clair, Just wanted to say thank you for all your help at the end of last year. My curtains and blinds are up and looking lovely. I can't believe the transformation the curtains have made, replacing the old terracotta & cream check with the lovely Japonica in Indigo. They look great against the oak frame, terracotta floor, and neutral walls, framing the view and making the space feel much lighter and brighter. I am delighted with the blinds in Lapland stripe, too. I'm pleased to say the recessed blinds are a very good fit, so thanks for explaining so carefully exactly what a) we should be measuring, and b) how those measurements translated to the finished size. The door blind looks great too and falls neatly behind the door handle when let down, as you said it would do. They look great, and again as with the curtain fabric, I am so grateful to you for your help with fabric suggestions as they make it feel more contemporary while still acknowledging that it's an old property, exactly the mix I was looking for. Also having the blinds has certainly made that area feel much cosier, particularly at this time of year. "

Thank you for all your help in both what to order, how to measure and how to work round some of the things in my wonky cottage! The whole order came without any fitting instructions but fortunately my partner is very handy and managed to work it all out. Then the day after fitting them all, my office blinds arrived with a lovely set of fitting instructions! Not sure what went wrong with the first batch but I am so delighted with everything. I think I am just missing the complimentary cushions for my most recent order, but there is no urgency as the blinds won't even be going up in my office until I've painted it.
