The Botanical Collection
A nostalgic collection, evocative of elegant drawing rooms and pretty florals of a bygone era.
This is a nostalgic collection, evocative of the elegant 'drawing' rooms and pretty florals of a bygone era: the months of 2020 allowed me time to reflect on the past: I have formative memories of winning a 'tiny garden in a shell' prize for my pressed wildflower collection when aged 8. Studying closely the beautiful shapes of flowers and leaves has stayed with me and is expressed here in the Botanical designs.
This collection consists of 5 designs reminiscent of the first 'indiennes' - softly coloured hand-blocked cottons, which were introduced into France from India at the end of the 16th century, and were immediately popular.

TICKING-1
This is a nostalgic collection, evocative of the elegant 'drawing' rooms and pretty florals of a bygone era: the months of 2020 allowed me time to reflect on the past: I have formative memories of winning a 'tiny garden in a shell' prize for my pressed wildflower collection when aged 8. This collection consists of 5 designs reminiscent of the first 'indiennes' - softly coloured hand-blocked cottons, which were introduced into France from India at the end of the 16th century, and were immediately popular.
In this collection I have combined and linked together many of my existing colours, for example, Lettuce with Pigeon and Soft Raspberry, Damson with Field Green and Clay; and Hay with Smoke and Duck Egg, and more.
Please note that this entire collection is printed on Plain Oyster. It is a completely different cloth from any other that we have printed on before, so we would suggest ordering a sample beforehand to check for colour references/suitability.
