Having safety devices is now a legal requirement even in homes without children, as little ones may visit you from time to time. In fact, if you move home and leave your blinds, you have an obligation to make sure they are legally safe.
All the blinds and curtains we make comply with European safety legislation; we take the safety of our products as paramount. All our products are supplied in line with the New British and European Regulations found in legislation EN 13120:2009 + A1:2014. All these can be made for you through our Made to Measure service.

As we don’t install them it is important that you follow the directions carefully when we send the goods to you. They are not complicated and will all make perfect sense. These small measures mean that if a child gets tangled up in a blind cord, the cords will come apart due to the small ‘breakaways’ fitted to each cord.
Another option is to choose our Roller Blinds operated with a central pull, just choose this option when ordering. Or indeed you can now find electric blinds (also known as motorized blinds), which eliminate cords and chains entirely. For enquiries please contact us and we can discuss this further with you.
All our fabrics are printed in the UK on a good weight of 100% Linen, and Linen Union, making them suitable for lampshades, curtains, blinds, cushions, and upholstery. We hold a good stock of all our fabrics ensuring delivery is usually within 3-5 working days subject to availability. The same team, who takes your order will roll, inspect and cut it, so accuracy and quality can be assured.
