Do you offer any seaside fabric designs for lampshades?

The design 'By the Sea' is a pictorial design that can be made into wonderful lampshades. There is so much to look at in the design, from boats, and lighthouses, to dogs and people, as well as pretty cottages by the sea.

Children's imaginations can be fired up and with the lovely detailed scenes and with light behind the fabric, the seaside can come alive.

What other patterns complement your seaside fabrics?

There are many fabrics from the other collections that are well suited and contrast well with the seaside fabric range. My Plain Linen Unions in Saffron, Teal, and Scree complement and contrast with the Seaside pattern, and add some stillness and calm to the interior scheme.

Alternatively you could make a lampshade in Plain Saffron and then make curtains or blinds from By the Sea in Teal to give the room a seaside feel.

Each bespoke lampshade is beautifully made in our local workshops by professionals, and hand finished with great care and attention. Our makers use traditional methods and take real pride in what they do. With Made to Measure, there is no need to compromise; you can create a unique look with your choice of fabric and those important finishing touches that will complement and co-ordinate your home.

There are four shapes to choose from: Empire, Drum, Pleated, and Candle (always sold as a pair), along with several size options. You can choose a second fabric to line the lampshade; applicable to Drum Lampshades only.

You can buy our fabrics in 10cm increments, starting at 1 metre, and make your own lampshade. Alternatively, you can use our Made to Measure service and we will make one, especially for you.

Please ask for fabric samples and see the colours in your rooms. If you order a half metre returnable sample you can drape them over your existing shades, or just in situ to where the shade will go, and see how it looks. All our fabrics are printed in the UK on a good weight of 100% Linen, and Linen Union, making them suitable for lampshades, curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery. We hold a good stock of all our fabrics ensuring delivery is usually within 3-5 working days subject to availability. The same team, who takes your order will roll, inspect and cut it, so accuracy and quality can be assured.
