Made to Measure Lampshades

These are four of Vanessa’s favourite fabrics from the last few months, all perfect for lampshades.

The Fine Foliage has quite a large pattern repeat, however, it’s still great for lampshades. We would suggest using a drum lampshade for this design so that you get to see as much of the design as possible. You can have a contrast inner lining with this choice of shade, so why not have a fabric that picks up one of the four colours? We have a wide selection to choose from in all the correlating colours, so the choice is yours!

The Dotty Check would work well our shades with the exception of the Empire, only because the prominent, horizontal line on the fabric would go off at an angle when applying it to the shades template.

The Little Fern is perfect for any shade, regardless of the shape and size! It’s so versatile and allows you to be creative with you choices, considering that the Lily Pink is also one of 12 colours in this particular design, combined with the fact it has a small pattern repeat, makes it one of the best choices when thinking about your lampshade fabrics! It also look beautiful not just as the main outer facing fabric, but also works just as well as the contrast inner lining.

May Blossom is very much like the Little Fern above. The Pigeon colourway has a touch of green in it,k so brings a subtle yet effective warmth to the room and to the shade.

Below are some examples of the Little Fern, and May Blossom, being used on our Made to Measure Lampshades. Although they are in different colours, it gives you a good impression of the finished article nonetheless.
