Made to Measure Roman Blinds
You can’t go wrong choosing Roman Blinds in a Duck Egg blue colour. This wonderful colour manages to suit all rooms.
This colour was inspired by the Farrow and Ball colour 'Light Blue'. Vanessa created her first Duck Egg Blue living room design over 25 years ago, hand mixing paint and printed curtain fabrics to blend with the room; it doesn't challenge the eye in busy kitchens and living room designs and equally creates a serene feeling of calm. The main Duck Egg blue fabric designs are Cow Parsley, Feather and Egg, Wild Fern, Flora and Fauna, Acorn and Leaf, Swallow Dive, Down to Earth, and Up the Garden Path, to name a few.
There are many coordinating fabrics for the main Duck Egg Blue fabrics, mainly stripes, spots and plains; see French Ticking, Stockholm Stripe, Pretty Maids and Plain Dotty as a few examples. HOW TO MEASURE UP FOR YOUR ROMAN BLINDS
INSIDE A WINDOW RECESS
Width: Measure across the recess at several points and give the narrowest measurement minus 1cm for clearance so the blind will run freely (see E on the diagram)
Length: Measure from the top of the recess to the bottom (see E on the diagram)
OUTSIDE A WINDOW RECESS
Width: Measure the width of the recess and add at least 5cms on each side for overlapping (see F on the diagram)
Length: Measure from the required starting position above the window to the length you require, adding 5cms on the length
