The neutrality of the cream colour means that they will subtly match all decors whilst still providing warm light. In recent years, neutral room settings have become extremely fashionable with many homes around the UK favouring this design.
Why choose cream or off white linen Roman Blinds?
Cream linen doesn’t fade so good for sunny south facing windows
They can be used more easily in other rooms if you move house and have different colour schemes.
They enable a lovely light in the room.
You can add any colour to it, such as a contrasting bottom border.
Pros for choosing Roman Blinds:
Borders - You can add a 5 cm contrasting bottom border, or an all-round border on the right, left, and bottom edge of the blind. Any of Vanessa's fabrics can be used for this, for example Gypsy Garland in Dove, with a bottom border in Stockholm Stripe - Dove, Winter, or Pretty Maids in Dove and Winter. Plain linen unions also make great borders for Roman Blinds.

Please ask for fabric samples and see the colours in your rooms. If you order a half metre returnable sample you can drape them over your existing blinds, or just in situ to where the blind will go, and see how it looks. All our fabrics are printed in the UK on a good weight of 100% Linen, and Linen Union, making them suitable for lampshades, curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery. We hold a good stock of all our fabrics ensuring delivery is usually within 3-5 working days subject to availability. The same team, who takes your order will roll, inspect and cut it, so accuracy and quality can be assured.
HOW TO MEASURE UP FOR YOUR ROMAN BLINDS
INSIDE A WINDOW RECESS
Width: Measure across the recess at several points and give the narrowest measurement minus 1cm for clearance so the blind will run freely (see E on the diagram)
Length: Measure from the top of the recess to the bottom (see E on the diagram)
OUTSIDE A WINDOW RECESS
Width: Measure the width of the recess and add at least 5cms on each side for overlapping (see F on the diagram)
Length: Measure from the required starting position above the window to the length you require, adding 5cms on the length
