We have several striking linen terracotta fabrics perfect for Roller Blinds: Wild and Free is a beautiful design depicting early animals taken from early art at the British Museum. They are stunning and suitable for any room in the house. We also have a stripe called Stockholm Stripe in terracotta mixed with charcoal grey.
Peach is a softer shade of terracotta, a little more red in it and makes wonderful Made to Measure blinds, adding a really warm feel to any room. Vanessa's favourite fabrics in peach are May Blossom, Little Fern, and Fruit Garden. We have mixed this shade of soft terracotta with a green-blue called Smoke.
On the same theme Marilgold is a yellow orange, whereas Pumpkin has more red in it. Pumpkin looks wonderful with Duck Egg blue and Smoke, whereas Marigold coordinates well with Sweet Pea and Damson pinks. Both of these orange fabrics can also look dramatic and modern when used with Charcoal and Winter greys.
You can be restrained and use orange as a small pop of colour, or go for it and choose a wonderful orange blind.
Please ask for fabric samples and see the colours in your rooms. If you order a half metre returnable sample you can drape them over your existing blinds, or just in situ to where the blind will go, and see how it looks. All our fabrics are printed in the UK on a good weight of 100% Linen, and Linen Union, making them suitable for lampshades, curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery. We hold a good stock of all our fabrics ensuring delivery is usually within 3-5 working days subject to availability. The same team, who takes your order will roll, inspect and cut it, so accuracy and quality can be assured.
HOW TO MEASURE UP FOR YOUR ROMAN BLINDS
INSIDE A WINDOW RECESS
Width: Measure across the recess at several points and give the narrowest measurement minus 1cm for clearance so the blind will run freely (see E on the diagram)
Length: Measure from the top of the recess to the bottom (see E on the diagram)
OUTSIDE A WINDOW RECESS
Width: Measure the width of the recess and add at least 5cms on each side for overlapping (see F on the diagram)
Length: Measure from the required starting position above the window to the length you require, adding 5cms on the length
