These are the top fabrics Vanessa has chosen as her favourites from the past few months.

Fine Foliage's large pattern repeat makes it suitable for quilts of all sizes, which for us ranges from small to extra large. Choose from up to three different fabrics when placing your Made to Measure Quilt order with us. When making a sample board for your quilt, you have an abundance of fabric options at your disposal. You could choose to use contrasting colours like reds, terracotta, and oranges. Alternatively, you might go with complementary fabrics that go well with the coordinating colours in the Fine Foliage, which you can see an example of by clicking here.

Little Fern is ideal for both the contrasting border and the main quilt fabric. The picture below shows you how it was used as the border of a quilt we used in a prior photo shoot; it picked up the delicate Lily Pink brilliantly as seen in the main fabric, Lapland Stripe!

The Little Fern above is the same as May Blossom. The Pigeon colourway has a hint of green rather than being a solid grey, which could be somewhat cold. When selecting your other quilt fabrics, this could be a fantastic place to start. Take into consideration some of our greens, such as Olive, Field Green, Kale, and Lettuce.
